Isaac Hayes, the unmistakable voice of 70’s soul, perhaps most famous for his Oscar winning theme from ‘Shaft’ was found dead near a treadmill that was still running.
Hayes had struggled with health problems over the last several years, including a stroke. He is survived by his wife Adjowa, son Nana (born in 2006), and 11 other children from previous marriages.
