    Sales representative Lakecious Edwards was awarded $411,339 in a lawsuit that found AT&T guilty of denying her promotions due to her race.

    An AT&T spokesman commented:

    “We are confident that we have done nothing wrong and we are exploring our options regarding a possible appeal,”

    Edwards was passed over on three occasions, all of which saw the position being granted to white employees.
