I just participated in the electric slide on the National Mall. Nuff said.
It’s almost 5am and Modern Minority is on the train! We got in line at 4am and the lines were already forming. By 4:30 the lines were outside the station, wrapping around the parking lot of the New Carrollton station in Maryland. See the blurry picture below for an idea of how crazy it was!
This is the scene in the majority of the stores in the DC area on the Monday before inauguration. As you can see, it’s slim pickings.
